“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
— Maya Angelou
We all have turning points in our lives – moments that shaped who we are, how we understand the world around us, and our own stories. As a therapist (and a human) I understand that our turning points in life are frequently moments of profound joy, pain, love, loneliness, etc., that live inside us as stories untold. I seek to help you unbear burdens and understand how critical moments in your life shaped the self that you are today. We will focus on healing past hurts, and developing skills, so that your present-day self and relationships are as healthy as they can be.
How I can help.
I am warm, affirming, and patient, and, thanks to my “New Englander” upbringing I am also direct and authentic. Together, we will pursue the joys and challenges of growth in a safe and compassionate space. As Lori Gottlieb says, most big transformations come from hundreds of tiny, almost imperceptible, steps we take along the day. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you make these steps.
Therapy services
Couple therapy
I specialize in helping couples identify the patterns and cycles that keep them stuck, and build practical skills for emotion regulation and co-regulation. Together, we work to create more safety, connection, and clarity so you can communicate more effectively and feel closer in your everyday life.
Individual Therapy
I help people understand themselves more fully by identifying patterns, exploring the meaning behind their experiences, and learning skills that support emotional steadiness and growth. Together, we work toward a clearer, more connected version of yourself.

The first session is focused on understanding your history, what’s bringing you in now, and what goals you’d like to work toward. You’ll leave with a sense of the process and a plan for next steps.
The client-therapist relationship is one of the most important factors in therapy outcomes. If you do not feel like we are the best fit, I would be happy to support you in finding a therapist that may be a better fit.

It varies based on your goals. Some clients come for short-term, targeted work, while others stay longer for deeper exploration and change. We’ll collaborate to make sure therapy moves at a pace and depth that fits your needs.

No. As a therapist, I provide psychotherapy but I do not prescribe medication. If medication is something you’d like to explore, I can provide referrals to PCPs and/or psychiatrists.
If you are working with another healthcare provider (e.g., psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, etc.) I am happy to collaborate with them to ensure consistent continuity of care across your healthcare team.
